I lived with Mike Bickle and his family for several years….

For whatever reason, this blog has gotten the most hits over the years.

An Unknown Berean's Blog showing that IHOP is New Age

If you’re an IHOP intern, upset with anyone who would speak out against Mike Bickle, against IHOP, then you need to really listen to the words you’re about to read.   The first portion of this appears to be lifting Mike Bickle up on a pedestal and singing his praises!  But the author of these scripts goes further on into his deeper thoughts about the teachings IHOP is promoting.

I lived with Mike Bickle and his family for several years in the late seventies and early eighties at which time I took care of Pat Bickle his younger brother that was a quadriplegic. We lived in a house in the western side of St. Louis which had as many as twenty five people mostly young men living on that property at one time. Now I tell you this because most of your history lesson on Mike begins with KC but the…

I have seen too many believers in Christ falling into the trap of practicing "Christianized New Age" and still calling it holy. Contemplative prayer is nothing more ( or less) than TM. Totally unscriptural. I encourage anyone who's interested in knowing the truth of God's word to dig in daily and SEARCH - be like the Bereans - FIND OUT if the teachings, messages, books you've read or radio speakers you've heard are dissecting God's word correctly. If they're not, throw out what you've heard. Trash it. God demands we STUDY to show ourselves approved. BE a Berean. Acts 17: 10-11

  1. I’ve heard Mike Bickle say he’s been to Heaven and has sat and spoken with God. I always wondered about that. Biblically, however, that just isn’t possible. No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. John 3:13 John 1:18 says No one has seen God at any time.
Keeping those two scriptures in mind, I’d really like to know where Mike Bickle believes that he is the exception to the rule on this. Thank you.

  2. First, I thank the Lord for leading you into the truth against Mike Bickle.
Second, I can totally relate to what it is like to be enslaved to a CULT!
Thirdly, much damage is done by these heretics, and false pastors/teachers.
It took the Lord so many years to get me where I am now, but I have a ways to go. But I’ve seen what “Cults” can do, and they are extremely dangerous. They have ruined marriages, cause adulteries through re-marriage, verbal, spiritual abuse, physical abuses, sexual inclinations, mental abuses over children, separations of families, shunning other’s who stand against them, and persons dying of cancer’s, mostly the men. Cults also cause other’s to walk away from the Lord all together.
It’s all very sad, and sickening when so-called “believers” still support heretics such as Mike Bickle and ALL who are like him.
Thank you for standing for the truth. The Lord bless you abundantly!
In His Love, a brother in Christ.
